A FAST-GROWING Bradford-based firm is in the running to be named the UK’s best large travel management company.
Redfern, which has raised sales by nearly five times in the past three years, is a finalist in the Business Travel Awards in the category for firms with UK sales of more than £200 million.
Redfern is supplier of UK travel management to the Government and was recently named in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 which ranks Britain’s 100 fastest growing businesses.
In the past year the company has rebranded itself and invested in marketing and aims to increase its share of the private sector market. It now processes a transaction every three secondson behalf of its more than 500 UK clients.
Mark Bowers, chief executive, said: “Being named as a finalist in the £200 million plus category at the Business Travel Awards is a tremendous achievement.
“It’s been an incredible period of growth over the past couple of years at Redfern. We’ve continued to invest heavily in technology and our people and have saved the Government £5 million a year in fees.”
Winners will be announced on Monday.
