BREAD donated by a Bradford bakery helped raise £1,300 for a children’s charity.
Richard Brankin, operations support manager at the Hovis Bradford bakery, arranged for 300 loaves to be delivered to Bannatyne’s Health Club in Wakefield where he is a member, for a baking sale in aid of the international children’s medical charity Operation Smile.
Richard said: “Hovis in Bradford does a lot of work with charities.
“When I saw the information about Operation Smile I knew that we had to support their week of fundraising.”
