A HOUSEBUILDER which last month lost a bid to construct homes on a Keighley greenfield site has reported a strong year of trading.
Persimmon Homes saw a 17 per cent increase in completions compared to the previous year and revenues rose by 23 per cent, to £2.6 billion.
Wayne Gradwell, managing director of Persimmon Homes Yorkshire, said: “Last year was extremely busy for us and we’re expecting a strong start to 2015, with many properties already reserved and forward sold.
“Our focus will be on delivering homes into the communities that desperately need them.”
