IT’S cheers to Ewen Gordon after he was appointed as the new managing director at Saltaire Brewery.
He took over fromTony Gartland, founder and managing director, on December 1.
Mr Gordon has been with the company for four years, including as sales director. Mr Gartland remains the owner of the business and will continue to manage the strategic direction of the business, as well as being involved in future product development.
Saltaire Brewery employs more than 20 people, has annual sales of more than £2million and operates across the North of England.
Mr Gordon said: “It is a big challenge for me to become managing director of a business that means so much too so many people. “We have a really loyal customer base who expect nothing but the best from Saltaire beers.”
