UNEMPLOYED graduate Liam Southwell has been thrown a work lifeline under a Bradford Council scheme to offer youngsters opportunities as interns with local businesses.
Journalism graduate Liam, 22, who completed his degree last year, has become the third intern at award-winning Ilkley-based public relations agency Approach PR under the scheme run by the council’s employment and enterprise team.
Liam said: “It’s quite disheartening to go to interviews and know that my chances are weakened by lack of experience.
“It’s a competitive world and I know experience is vital.”
