A team of tradesmen from Bradford have been praised for their work on converting an unused area of a clinic in Berkshire into an urgent care centre.

Fit-out specialist PEC completed the contract at the Royal Berkshire Bracknell Healthspace in six weeks for specialist provider OneMedical Care.

They remodelled the existing space to create a large office area, waiting room, four treatment rooms, a plaster room, clean and dirty utility areas and a patient education centre. One treatment room is dedicated for young patients and has been designed to be child-friendly.

Rachel Beverley-Stevenson, of OneMedical Care said: “We were pleased with the results of PEC’s work. The team worked well and overcame the challenges of fitting out a new space within a live environment to deliver a fantastic centre, which patients have been overwhelmingly positive about.”
