Bradford is losing out on new jobs as a leading holiday price comparison firm moves its office to Leeds where it will recruit extra staff.
Icelolly.com, currently based in a former swimming baths in Wyke, is moving to city centre offices in Park Row where it will increase its workforce from about 60 to more than 100 this year.
The move comes six months after a £17 million management buyout led by chief executive Dave Clayton and backed by Palatine Private Equity.
Mr Clayton said: “These are very exciting times for everyone associated with Icelolly.com and the new offices will provide the space and facilities to help us achieve our ambitious plans.
“The vibrant location, excellent transport links and university made Leeds the perfect head office location for Icelolly with a great pool of talent.”
