Export Week, run by UK Trade and Investment, will include regional events offering guidance to help businesses new to exporting and will run from November 11-15.
The week will also see the launch of an International Festival of Business around next year’s Grand Depart for the Tour de France in West Yorkshire.
UKTI will announce a programme to tie-in with the cycling spectacle and to capitalise on the global interest it will be bring Yorkshire.
UKTI regional director Mark Robson said: “There’s still a perception in some quarters that exporting is only for the big boys and that some companies are too small or niche to compete in the international marketplace.
“That couldn’t be further from the truth. We have a wealth of enterprising SMEs across the region achieving success in all corners of the globe, and the message is simple: They can do it, and so can you.”
