An expanded specialist exercise studio is donating a proportion of clients’ fees to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Pure Pilates, in Ilkley town centre, which added two new studios to double its size, is also selling a range of Pink Collection T-shirts and other goods in support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and will hold a Pilates marathon day next month in aid of the charity.
Studio owner Kirstin Ferrie, a Pilates instructor, is a supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness after her mother survived the disease 17 years ago. Kirsten also works with breast cancer patients, helping them regain strength and movement and boost confidence.
She launched the studio in 2010 after travelling the world to learn and teach and returning to live in Haworth and start her business.
