A leading pub company is holding an event for potential licensees in Bradford this week.
Admiral Taverns will host an open day for prospective landlords at The Fire Brigade on Southfield Lane on Thursday between 11am and 6pm.
The company said interested parties did not need previous experience of the pub trade as its training programmes would help new entrants to hit the ground running.
Suzanne Smith, head of licensee recruitment and training, said: “We’re looking for driven, inspirational individuals who aspire to run a great community pub and who want the freedom and flexibility that comes with running their own business.
“We’re passionate about pubs and people and are proud to have been crowned 2013 pub company of the year at the Publican Awards. The open day is a great opportunity for ambitious people in the region to come and talk to us.”
Admiral Taverns’ business development manager Gary Stafford, who works closely with Admiral licensees across West Yorkshire, will be on hand to talk potential licensees through the pubs available, the type of agreements on offer and the life of an Admiral pub licensee.
