Historic Pudsey textile firm Hainsworth has clinched a deal to supply luxury woollen blankets to top people’s store, Harrods.
The firm, which has remained in family hands since 1783, is supplying Harrods with blankets from its luxury lifestyle range Scarlet & Argent.
The Royal warrant holder still uses traditional looms and about eight-to-ten tonnes of wool a week and uses a natural spring underneath its site for production processes.
Managing director Tom Hainsworth, 45, said: “Harrods is synonymous with luxury and great design so we are delighted to be showcasing Scarlet & Argent there.”
