A new care organisation is recruiting staff to look after people in their own homes across Skipton and Craven.
Dales Community Care was founded by care Anne Close and Wendy Woods, who each have more than 20 years of experience in the social care sector.
They established the business after the closure of Threshfield Community Care, where Wendy was manager and Anne deputy manager.
Dales Community Care, based in Grassington, offers domiciliary care to adults aged 18 or over from basic to complex needs in Skipton, Upper Wharfedale, Littondale, Settle and across North and South Craven.
Anne Close , who is also responsible for delivering the company's in-house training programme, said: “We are looking to take on people who live in the area. We prefer them to be local, so they are on the doorstep if the need is urgent. Full training will be given.”
Dales Community Care provides a wide range of personal care in the home and also specialist end- of-life care for adults and cover for carers needing breaks.
Both Anne and Wendy hold recognised health and social care, training and assessing qualifications, while Wendy also acts as registered manager.
