Skipton Financial Services, the financial advisory subsidiary of Skipton Building Society, has celebrated its 25th birthday.

Andrew Barker, SFS managing director who has been with the company since 1992, said: “SFS has achieved a lot over the last 25 years, growing from a business with just two advisers and one administrator, to where we are now with over 330 staff.

“There have been many highlights over the last 25 years and a lot of change in our industry but we believe we are strongly positioned to continue to offer people access to high quality financial advice that they need to ensure they are able to have the retirement they deserve.

“Good people are the reason for any business success and we have been very fortunate to have some of the best people in the industry working for SFS. I would like to thank everyone for their contribution over the last 25 years and all our clients for the trust they continue to place in us.”
