A construction firm has completed millions of pounds worth of work for retailer Primark.
Bailey, part of Ilkley-based NG Bailey, has completed its £9 million contract for clothing retailer Primark.
Spanning nine months, the design and build contract involved Bailey completing the mechanical and electrical fit-out of nine UK stores, including the new Bradford store in the Kirkgate Centre.
Bailey refitted the entire service systems, including ceilings, closed-circuit television, fire alarms, data systems, lighting, switchgear, mechanical, heating, ventilation, plant and building management systems.
As well as Bradford, Bailey did work on stores in Camberley, Coventry, Exeter, Glasgow, Hanley, Oldham, Wolverhampton and Eastbourne.
The project, awarded to Bailey earlier this year, was the second phase of a national expansion for the clothing retailer.
Martin Bailey, managing director at Bailey, comments: "The contract has been a great success and is an example of how we can effectively utilise our national network to deliver large retail projects for clients across the UK.
"Installing new mechanical and electrical services into existing footprints is often difficult, but the team rose to the challenge and have done a great job fitting out all nine stores."
