ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
CHAPEL STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 606) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of Northern Powergrid remedial works proposed to be executed on or near Chapel Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect ofwhich will be that no person shall proceed along Chapel Street, Bradford from the junction with Leeds Road to a point outside 17 Chapel Street. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be allowed. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Leeds Road, East Parade, Peckover Street, Chapel Street (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 14 November 2016 and remain in force until 18 November 2016 between 09:00 hours and 15:30 hours (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
