CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL MIDLAND ROAD AND HOLYWELL ASH LANE BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 608) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of the likelihood of danger to the public on Midland Road and Holy Well Ash Lane, Bradford as a result of matches and/or events taking place at The Northern Commercials Stadium, Valley Parade, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which will be that on match days and event days at The Northern Commercials Stadium, Valley Parade, Bradford no person shall proceed as follows:-
Midland Road - from its junction with Cornwall Terrace to its junction with Thorncliffe Road
Holy Well Ash Lane - from its junction with Midland Road to its junction with Lupton Street
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall only apply on match days and event days and will commence approximately 2 hours before the beginning of an event or match and continue in force for a period of time ending approximately 1 hour after the end of any event or match. Essential vehicular access to premises will be allowed and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Thorncliffe Road, Manningham Lane, Nesfield Street and vice versa. The Order comes into operation on 1st November 2016 and remains in force for a period of approximately 12 months (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
