ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
WAKEFIELD ROAD (SLIP ROAD) BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 603) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of Yorkshire Water equipment repairs proposed to be executed on or near Wakefield Road (slip road) intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed along the length of Wakefield Road (slip Road) at the junction of Corban Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access and essential vehicular access to premises will be allowed.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Wakefield Road (unaffected section),Tong Street and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 19:00 hours on 10 November 2016 until 23:30 hours on 10 November (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 27th day of October 2016
