ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
PROVIDENCE STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 600) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of O2 equipment repairs proposed to be executed on or near Providence Street intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Providence Street from the junction with Gratan Road to the junction with Westgate.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access and essential vehicular access to premises will be allowed.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via New John Street and Westgate and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th of November and operate between 07:00 and 17:00 hours on the 6th and 13th of November 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
