ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
ALLERTON LANE, ALLERTON, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 592) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to carry out highway improvement works proposed to be executed on or near Allerton Lane, Allerton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length ofAllerton Lane, Allerton from its junction with Bracewell Avenue to a point outside No 2 Allerton Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Allerton Lane (unaffected section), B6145 Thornton Road, Allerton Road, Cote Lane, Allerton Lane (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 31^st October 2016 and remain in force until 10^th December 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 20th day of October 2016
