ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
NEW HEY ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 596) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to carry out gas main works to be executed on or near New Hey Road has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of New Hey Road from its junction with Wakefield Road to its junction with Stafford Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via New Hey Road (unaffected section), Stafford Street, Sheridan Street, A650 Wakefield Road, Leicester Street, Kenilworth Street and vice versa. The Order comes into operation on 24^th October 2016 and remains in force until 5^th November 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
