ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
WYKE LANE, WYKE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 593) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of Yorkshire Water sewer repairs proposed to be executed outside 207 to 209 Wyke Lane intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed along the length of Wyke Lane outside 207 to 209 Wyke Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to pedestrians, emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Essential vehicular access to premises will be allowed.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Wyke Lane (unaffected section), Cleckheaton Road, New Works Road, Huddersfield Road,Towngate and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th October until 27th October 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
