ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
CHURCH STREET, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 594) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of Yorkshire Water sewer repair works proposed to be executed on or near Church Street, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed along the length of Church Street at the junction of Trinity Place.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to pedestrian access, emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.Essential vehicular access to premises will be allowed.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Church Street (unaffected section), Leonard Street, John Escritt Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 24^th October and remain in force for until 29^th October (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
