ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
RAIKES LANE, TONG, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 588) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to carry out tree trimming to clear power lines to be executed on or near Raikes Lane, Tong has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Raikes Lane, Tong from a point outside Raikes Hall to a point outside Raikes Farm.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic and affected residents affected by the Order are available via Raikes Lane (unaffected section), Holme Lane, Tong Street, Westgate Hill Street, Tong Lane, New Lane and vice versa. The Order comes into operation on 12th October 2016 and remains in force until 13th October 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
