ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 151 (BRADFORD NORTH) THORPE EDGE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 589) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas mains works proposed to be executed on or near Public Footpath No 151 (Bradford North) Thorpe Edge intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Public Footpath No 151 (Bradford North) Thorpe Edge from its junction with Sandholme Drive to its junction with Stonegate Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and pedestrians connected with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of public footpath. Alternative routes for pedestrians affected by the proposed Order will be available via Sandholme Drive, Stonegate Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th October 2016 and remain in force until 5th November 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to six months if necessary).
