ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
RAIKES LANE, TONG, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 588) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to carry out tree trimming to clear power lines proposed to be executed on or near Raikes Lane, Tong intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Raikes Lane, Tong from a point outside Raikes Hall to a point outside Raikes Farm. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic and affected residents affected by the proposed Order will be available via Raikes Lane (unaffected section), Holme Lane, Tong Street, Westgate Hill Street, Tong Lane, New Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th October 2016 and remain in force until 13th October 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 27th day of September 2016
