ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
TOWN GATE, WYKE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 578) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to enable renewal of ironwork in the carriageway to be executed on or near Town Gate, Wyke has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Town Gate, Wyke from a point outside No. 37 Town Gate, Wyke. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Town Gate (unaffected section), Huddersfield Road, Green Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 4th September 2016 and remains in force until 5th September 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 1st day of September 2016
