ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
CANAL ROAD BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 583) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of BT cabling works proposed to be executed on or near Canal Road from the junction of Valley Road to the Junction of Kirkgate (outbound only) intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed along Canal Road outbound between the junction of Valley Road to the junction of Kirkgate..
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Kirkgate, Bolton Road and Balme Street. The proposed Order will come into effect at 21:00 hours on 27th September 2016 and remain in force until 06:00 on 28th September 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
