CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO. 31) ORDER 2016
AND
(MOVING TRAFFIC) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO. 3)

CHAIN STREET AREA BRADFORD
NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Orders on 11th August 2016 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the general effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions:-
1. "Limited Waiting of 2 hours (return prohibited within 2 hours) Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm - except for permit holders" on lengths of Chain Street; Baptist Place and Longlands Street (West);

2. "Limited Waiting of 2 hours (return prohibited within 2 hours) Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm" on lengths of Roundhill Place; Westend Street and Longlands Street (East);

3. "Limited Waiting of 1 hour (return prohibited within 1 hour) Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm" on a length of Providence Street;

4. "No Waiting At Any Time" on lengths of Longlands Street (East); Grattan Road (higher level); Roundhill Place; Westend Street; Chain Street; Longlands Street (West) and Baptist Place;

5. "Parking Places for Residents Only" on Baptist Court; and

6. "One-Way" traffic flows on lengths of Baptist Place; Grattan Road (higher level) and Longcroft Place.

The Orders come into force on 5th September 2016 and copies of the Orders together with maps showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford.
If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Orders were made (i.e. 11th August 2016) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
