ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
HUDDERSFIELD ROAD/COMMON ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 575) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas mains works proposed to be executed on or near the junction of Huddersfield Road and Common Road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall turn right into Common Road from Huddersfield Road approaching from the north east or turn right into Huddersfield Road from Common Road approaching from the west.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Huddersfield Road (unaffected section), Abb Scott Lane, Common Road (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th August 2016 and remain in force until 6th September 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 11th day of August 2016
