ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
MILLGATE BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 573) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable maintenance works to the Old White Horse Public House proposed to be executed on or near Millgate, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Millgate, Bingley from its junction with Old Main Street to its junction with Riverwalk. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Millgate (unaffected section), Harden Road, Wilsden Road, Harden Lane, Mill Hill Top, Main Street, Haworth Road, Wilsden Road, Cottingley Road, Cottingley Moor Road, Bradford Old Road, Cottingley New Road, Bradford Road, Main Street and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th August 2016 and remain in force until 22nd August 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 11th day of August 2016
