ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
CARR LANE BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 571) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to enable maintenance of power lines by tree felling to be executed on or near Carr Lane, Bingley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Carr Lane, Bingley from its junction with Otley Road to its junction with Becks Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Otley Road, Heights Lane, Walsh Lane, Greenhill Lane, Sty Lane, Micklethwaite, Carr Lane (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 12th August 2016 and remains in force until 13th August 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
