ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BROW LANE, CLAYTON, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 553) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to enable a stop tap renewal proposed to be executed on or near Brow Lane, Clayton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Brow Lane, Clayton at a point at the entrance to Hole Bottom Farm, Clayton.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Brow Lane (unaffected section), Cockin Lane, Low Lane, Town End Road, The Avenue and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th July 2016 and remain in force until 8th July 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 28th day of June 2016
