CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 MAIN STREET COTTINGLEY BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 534) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near Main Street, Cottingley, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed on that length of Main Street which extends between property numbered 52 and property named High Garth PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons employed in connection with the works or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on or near the said length of road. Pedestrian access, access for emergency services vehicles and vehicles associated with the works will be allowed. Vehicular access for residents will also be maintained.
An alternative route for traffic affected by the Order will be available via Main Street (unaffected section), Bradford Old Road, Manor Road, Rycroft Avenue, Coppy Close, March Cote Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into effect on Friday 10th June 2016 and remains in force for a period of approximately one day.
