ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BALME STREET AND CANAL ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 531) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works in underground chambers proposed to be executed on or near Balme Street and Canal Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall turn right into Balme Street from Canal Road when travelling in a northerly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Canal Road (unaffected section), Holdsworth Street and Bolton Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st June 2016 and remain in force until 3rd June 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 19th day of May 2016
