ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL MARKET STREET, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 520) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to a telecoms mast proposed to be executed on or near Market Street, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Market Street, Bingley from a point at its junction with Dryden Street to the car park entrance.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Market Street (unaffected section), Main Street, Myrtle Place, Airedale Street, Queen Street and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 22nd April 2016 and remain in force until 23rd April 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 12th day of April 2016
