ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL SWINE LANE, EAST MORTON, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 517) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to enable the erection of street lighting columns proposed to be executed on or near Swine Lane, East Morton, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Swine Lane, East Morton from a point at its junction with Bradford Road to its junction of Roedhelm Road, East Morton.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Swine Lane (unaffected section), Carr Lane, Morton Lane, B6265 Keighley Road / Bradford Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th April 2016 and remain in force until 20th April 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
