ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BALME STREET AND CANAL ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 510) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works in underground chambers to be executed on or near Balme Street and Canal Road, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall turn right into Balme Street from Canal Road when travelling in a northerly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Canal Road (unaffected section), Holdsworth Street and Bolton Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 29th March 2016 and remains in force until 31st March 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 25th day of March 2016
