ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
DICK LANE, THORNBURY, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 499) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of carriageway re-surfacing works proposed to be executed on or near Dick Lane, Thornbury, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Dick Lane, Thornbury, Bradford from its junction with Gypsy Street to its junction with Linden Avenue.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Essential vehicular access to premises for affected residents only will be allowed and pedestrian access will be available at all time. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Dick Lane (unaffected part) - Broad Lane - A6177 Laisterdyke - Leeds Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th March 2016 and remain in force until 9th March 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 25th day of February 2016
