ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BARRY STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 495) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of remedial re-instatement work to be carried out on behalf of British Telecom proposed to be executed on or near Barry Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Barry Street from its junction with Grattan Road to its junction with A6181 Westgate, Bradford
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Grattan Road - New John Street - Westgate and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd February 2016 and remain in force until 25th February 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
