CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 NORMAN TERRACE ECCLESHILL BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 488) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near Norman Terrace, Eccleshill, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed on that length of Norman Terrace which extends from its junction with Norman Lane to its junction with Mount Terrace PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons employed in connection with the works or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on or near the said length of road. Pedestrian access and access for emergency services vehicles and vehicles associated with the works will be allowed. Vehicular access for residents only will also be allowed.
An alternative route for traffic affected by the proposed closure will be available via Norman Lane, Mount Terrace and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on Monday 22nd February 2016 and remain in force for a period of approximately two weeks (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
