ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SILVERHILL ROAD, FAGLEY, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 485) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of road re-surfacing work proposed to be executed on or near Silverhill Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Silverhill Road at its junction with Leeds Old Road, Bradford. The road re-surfacing works will be carried out between the hours of 07.00 hours and 18.00 hours on the following Sundays only:- 14th February 2016, 21st February 2016, 28th February 2016 and 6th March 2016
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Leeds Old Road - Roydstone Terrace - Moor Park Drive -Silverhill Road (unaffected part) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th February 2016 and remain in force until 7th March 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 5th day of February 2016
