ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH BETWEEN PORTLAND STREET AND BRITANNIA STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 486) ORDER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of demolition works proposed to be executed on or near the public footpath between Portland Street and Britannia Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the full length of the public footpath between Portland Street and Britannia Street, Bradford.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons connected with the works proposed to be carried out on or near the said length of public footpath. No access will be allowed
Alternative routes for pedestrian traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Britannia Street - Croft Street - Portland Street and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th February 2016 and remain in force until 13th June 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to six months if necessary). DATED this 4th day of February 2016
