ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 SKIPTON ROAD SILSDEN TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 480) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near Skipton Road, Silsden has made the above named Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed on that length of Silsden Road which extends from its junction with Woodside Road to the District Boundary PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons employed in connection with the works or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on or near the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access to premises will be permitted for emergency vehicles and vehicles associated with the works.
An alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be available via Skipton Road (unaffected part), Grange Road, Main Street, Skipton Road (A629), Keighley Road (A6034), Briggate and vice versa.
The Order comes into effect on Monday 25th January 2016 and remains in force for a period of approximately three weeks (although the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
