CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 MICKLETHWAITE LANE BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 478) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near Micklethwaite Lane, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed on that length of Micklethwaite Lane which extends from its junction with Sty Lane to its junction with Airedale Mills
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons employed in connection with the works or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on or near the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access to premises will be permitted for emergency vehicles and vehicles associated with the works. An alternative route for traffic affected by the proposed closure will be available via Micklethwaite Lane (unaffected part), Carr Lane, Otley Road, Main Road, Morton Lane, Keighley Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on Sunday 24th January 2016 and remain in force for a period of approximately one day (although the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
