CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 67 (BAILDON) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 467) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to replace gas mains proposed to be executed on or near Public Footpath No 67 (Baildon) intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed as follows:-
Phase 1 - in the length of Public Footpath No 67 (Baildon) from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Ashfield Drive closed from 08.00 hours on 18th January 2016 until 18.00 hours on 31st January 2016 Phase 2 - in the length of Public Footpath No 67 (Baildon) from its junction with Ashfield Drive to its junction with Holden Lane closed from 08.00 hours on 25th January 2016 until 18.00 hours on 14th February 2016 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or vehicles and pedestrians connected with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of Public Footpath.
Essential vehicular access to premises will be allowed and pedestrian access will be available at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available as follows:-
Phase 1 - via Station Road - Kirkfields - Ashfield Drive and vice versa
Phase 2 - via Ashfield Drive - Holden Lane and vice versa
The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th January 2016 and remain
in force until 14th February 2016 (although the closure can remain in force
for up to six months if necessary).
