HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 119 PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 212 (QUEENSBURY) (PART)
BETWEEN BRIGHOUSE ROAD AND HILLCREST ROAD QUEENSBURY BRADFORD
PUBLIC PATH (DIVERSION) ORDER 2014

On 20th October 2015, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order, as confirmed, is to divert that part of Public Footpath No. 212 (Queensbury) shown by a bold continuous line on plan number 66666/T213 which is annexed to the Order, commencing at a point 20 metres from Hillcrest Road and continuing in a northerly direction for a distance of 40 metres with a width of 2 metres to a point on Brighouse Road, Queensbury, Bradford.
An alternative Public Footpath will be created as shown by a bold broken line on plan number 66666/T213 annexed to the Order commencing at a point 20 metres from Hillcrest Road and continuing in an easterly direction with a width of 2 metres for a distance of 19 metres to a point on Brighouse Road, Queensbury, Bradford.
A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order map has been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at the Customer Services Office, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.
The Order comes into force on 17th November 2015, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act (as amended), or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 30th October 2015, make an application to the High Court.
