CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 118 PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 82 (BRADFORD SOUTH) (PART) CEDAR CLOSE, BRADFORD PUBLIC PATH (EXTINGUISHMENT) ORDER 2015
On 20th October 2015, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order, as confirmed, is to extinguish that part of Public Footpath No. 82 (Bradford South) shown by a bold continuous line on plan number 66666/T181A/BDS82_Order Plan which is annexed to the Order, commencing at PointAat its junction with Cedar Close, Bradford in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of 32 metres at a width of 9 feet with as asphalt surface to Point B at its junction with Shetcliffe Lane, Bradford. A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order map has been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at the Customer Services Office, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.
The Order comes into force on 17th November 2015 , but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act (as amended), or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 26th September 2014, make an application to the High Court.
