It’s been confirmed – some lucky lady is going to get to shave Wayne Godwin’s head.

It might not seem much but believe you me, we’ve been trying to get Wagga to do this for the last four years. It’s all set to be quite a big occasion.

He’s the most vain man in the team and for him to lose his hair is like most men losing their fortune!

He’s finally agreed though. There’s going to be the Bulls Ladies Night shortly and, with Wayne making his comeback from injury too, that’s when it will happen.

We’ll raffle it off on the night and whoever wins gets to shave his head. Hopefully everyone will turn out and put some money towards it.

Talking of ladies, I’m into double figures now this season for the old stitches. I got done twice at Warrington.

Thankfully they’ve not affected my looks too much and obviously there’s the old saying ‘chicks dig scars’!

Deacs did me with one but I don’t know what happened for the other. The coach says get your head in tight but I must have taken it a bit too literally on a couple of occasions last week!

The missus isn’t too happy, coming home with stitches all over my face, but it’s all good fun.

It’s Saints down here on Sunday. There’s a few players back now from injury and there’ll be a few selections debates ahead for the boss.

At the end of the day though, that’s what you need – people challenging each other – and if you don’t perform well, then someone else is going to step into your shoes. It’s definitely a positive for the squad.

Elliott Whitehead’s done really well. The lad’s stepped up and not looked out of place.

He’s had some nice touches when he’s been on the field, hasn’t made any errors and that’s what you want.

You don’t want your young lads being overawed by the occasion and Elliott certainly hasn’t. He’s done some good stuff for us and deservedly kept his spot in the squad.
