Angry fans chanted "You're not fit to wear the shirt" during another demoralising defeat for City this afternoon.
Stuart McCall's side were jeered off at half-time at Meadow Lane as they trailed off 3-0 down.
Following hot on the heels from the Barnet fiasco, this was another game to forget as the Bantams faltered once again.
All week the talk had been about making amends for the defeat at Underhill. Instead they were picked apart by a Notts County side that had previously managed only one win over top-half opponents in 17 attempts.
City were caught cold for the first goal after 11 minutes as County broke from defending a free-kick for Jonathan Forte to convert Jamie Forrester's pass.
Forte, who played under McCall at Sheffield United, grabbed his second after half an hour. And the hosts made it three before half-time through Delroy Facey.
The 1,231-strong travelling army vented their feelings at seeing their side ripped apart for the second time in a week.
City were better after the break, with Lee Bullock and Dean Furman going close, but never really threatened to come back.
Peter Thorne finally ended his near four-month wait for a goal when he tapped in late on. But it was scant consolation and City were booed off again at the final whistle.
This week's two home games are must-win affairs to prevent the wheels from falling off.
CITY: Evans, Rehman, Lee, Clarke, O'Brien, Jones, Bullock, Furman, Law, Boulding, Thorne. Subs: Arnison, Conlon, Colbeck, Nix, Convey.
