Bulls 6, Hull FC 70
Mick Potter saw his side’s play-off hopes dealt a crushing blow as the Bulls slumped to their heaviest defeat of the season in front of new owners Omar Khan and Gerry Sutcliffe.
Potter addressed the crowd before kick-off to thank fans for their support this year and moments later Khan and Sutcliffe were introduced to the Odsal faithful.
The stage was set for a night of celebration when Hull FC-bound winger Jason Crookes collected a pass from Keith Lulia to touch down in the left corner after just two minutes.
Luke Gale converted in style but Ben Jeffries was then sinbinned for holding down Tom Briscoe by referee Ben Thaler and Hull gradually assumed control.
Joe Westerman crossed the line and then sent Jamie Foster over before further scores from Danny Houghton and Willie Manu (2) sent the visitors into the break with a 28-6 lead.
Aaron Heremaia (2), Briscoe (3), Ben Crooks, Andy Lynch and Foster again completed the rout.
